Abstract
In this report, which also constitutes a final report for MOU232, a User's Manual and a Programmer's
Guide for the program Medusa is presented. This program is capable of simulating the impacts of
several vehicles. In particular, it assumes that the collisions are elastic, and is consequently
applicable for low relative velocity impacts. The vehicular model and collision detection
algorithm used in the program are based on previously published reports by the authors. Several
of these developments are summarized, and improved features of the collision detection algorithm
are presented in a theoretical section at the beginning of this report.
